挂图，幻灯，扮演不同职业的道具（如：工人，医生等）。
六．教学过程
Step 1 Revision（10 mins）
1．Duty report （根据值日生报告进行问答）。
2．根据本单元内容，叫同学就come to my family进行自由问答。
3．Fine talk：叫几组同学表演对话。（根据同学家实际情况自由问答）
Step 2 Presentation (5 mins)
1．教师出示第33课挂图，就Jim’s的家人进行问答练习：
T：Who is this？
S：This is Jim’s father．
T：What’s the name of Jim’s father？
S：His name is…
T：Who is this？
S：This is…
T：What’s the name of…
S：His/ Her name is…
2．同学进行问答练习，可用连锁法进行练习。
3．教师指着Jim’s aunt自问自答：（l）What is she？
（2）She is a doctor．
再做出给人看病的样子，连说几遍，直到学生听懂。
再指着一个学生说：What is he／she？
He/ She is a student. He/ She goes to school．
进一步说明What is she／he？是对职业进行提问。注意：如果主语为第三人称单数， 在一般现在时中，go用goes．（边解释边板书）
Step 3 Practice
让学生就职业进行问答练习，强调如果是学生去上学，第三人称单数go用goes．
如：T：student（she）go
S：She is a student，she goes to school．
Step 4 Look and say
1．打开书，教师领读课文内容，空白处尽量让学生自己填上。
2．学生看图朗读课文。
3．学生自己朗读课文。
4．合上书，看挂图，复述课文。
5．分别叫同学到黑板前，让他们选图复述课文。
Step 5 Listen, read and say
1．教师用单词卡让学生朗读单词，然后板书：
cake Kate name grade —— a [ei]
bag map cat hat－－a [ 
]
引导学生总结两组单词读者规则，讲解字母a在开音节中读［ei］，在闭音节中读[ ]，然后打乱卡片次序，让学生读准单词。
2．幻灯出示两组单词，用对比法教授字母：p b t d的发音，并纠正错误发音。

[d] desk down bird good
Step 6 Listen and answer
1．对学生说：open your workbook at Page 13, listen and answer．
2．放两遍录音，学生回答问题，然后再放录音，解释难点。
3．找学生说出正确答案。
Step 7 Show and talk
1．让同学穿上他们的服装道具，扮演不同职业的人，进行会话练习。
2．让同学看自己家的照片，介绍家庭成员。
