We have a rather small house, with only one spare bed-room. You can imagine our alarm when Aunt Clara wrote to say that she was coming with her children to stay for the weekend. Her family was not a small one, with four boys all under the age of twelve.

I sent a telegram at once, explaining that our house was too small. Aunt Clara called us up the next morning. “ I forgot to mention to you ,” she said in her sweetest voice, “ the boys will be bringing their tents.”
