香港素称“东方明珠”（the Oriental Pearl）位于中国东南部沿海，是世界最大的贸易中心之一。香港的总人口为660万。总面积为1070平方公里，差不多是4个台北市的大小。香港由香港岛、新界、九龙（the Hong Kong Island, the Kowloon Peninsula, the New Territories  )和235个小岛组成. 冬季天气干冷，夏季湿热﹐1月平均气温16度. 7月平均气温28度。由于它高度发达的商业（commerce）和美丽的风光(scenery)，每年都能吸引大量的游客。
